Dolby Live at Park MGM Rules

To ensure the best possible experience of all guests, and the privacy and security of the performers, please observe the following codes of conduct during your visit to the Park Theater Monte Carlo.

It’s crucial to plan your Dolby Live trip carefully – and that includes reading up on the following rules and policies imposed by the venue’s staff. You don’t want to find, for example, that your chosen seat doesn’t meet your accessibility needs or you’ve brought a larger bag than allowed. Attempting to rectify such mishaps at the last minute could risk you missing the start of the show you’ve paid to see.

Age restrictions

Any kids aged 3 or older who come along with you to an event will each need a full-price ticket for entry. This requirement does not apply to any child aged younger than 3, but you must keep them on your lap during the performance.

Accessibility

Dolby Live offers accessible seating. So, make sure you book well ahead for your chosen event to avoid missing out on ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) seating.

What if you need assisted listening devices? You don’t need to plan ahead to reserve those. Instead, when you arrive at Dolby Live, you can simply ask onsite Guest Services to provide you with these devices. You can find Guest Services on the Dolby Live lobby’s 1st and 2nd floors.

Smoking

Like other Nevada casinos, Park MGM closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, upon reopening in September 2020, it made a little piece of history by becoming the Strip’s only casino resort with a non-smoking policy.

This is a real USP for Park MGM, as cigarette smoke can feel ever-present in other casinos. This smoking ban extends to Dolby Live, including all five of its terraces. Still, there remain designated outdoor areas where smoking continues to be permitted.

Re-entry policy

You are allowed to re-enter a Dolby Live event after leaving it partway through. Typically, when you do leave before the event finishes, you will need to scan your ticket if you want to be able to re-enter later.

However, some events might follow a different re-entry policy. For this reason, it’s worth contacting the venue to seek clarification beforehand.

Bag policy

Are you permitted to bring bags or backpacks into the venue? Generally, only small personal bags or purses up to 12” x 12” x 6” in size. However, the exact bag policy can depend on the event. That’s why, for clarification, you should check the specific event page or reach out to Dolby Live’s Guest Services.

Outside food and beverages

Dolby Live does not permit you to bring in outside food. Conversely, outside beverages are permitted, but if you do bring one, you might be asked to transfer it to a cup before taking your seat.

Other prohibited items

There are many other items you are banned from taking with you into Dolby Live. They include:

  • » Cameras with an interchangeable/detachable lens or external flash
  • » Audio/visual recording devices like GoPro and Google Glass.
  • » Selfie sticks, tripods, or monopods
  • » Laptops, tablets, or personal computers
  • » Weapons, firearms, pepper spray, or pocket knives
  • » Illegal drugs or substances
  • » Cigarettes or vape pens
  • » Seat cushions or booster seats

This is far from a comprehensive list of the prohibited items. Also, some of the rules can be complex, like those surrounding the use of signs, flags, or banners. That’s why it’s important to look closely at Dolby Live’s full list of prohibited items.
