The announcement of the brand new shows this year comes on the heels of Maroon 5’s recent, sold-out dates at Dolby Live. Located in Park MGM’s 5,200-seat entertainment venue, Maroon 5’s residency boasts the group’s top hits from across their epic career, including RIAA diamond-certified songs “Sugar,” “Girls Like You,” and fan favorite “Moves Like Jagger.”

“With every song intro, the crowd buzzed with recognition. It really is a testament to the Maroon 5’s esteem— even if you’re not a die hard fan, you’ll be up and singing along. Adam Levine takes full advantage of the X-shaped catwalk to get closer to the audience, and literally runs edge to edge on stage so no section feels left out,” cheers Live Music Diary.

About Maroon 5

It is no secret that Maroon 5 are one of the world’s most well-known and cherished music acts. Their debut album, Songs About Jane, landed in 2002. And ever since, they have continued to go from strength to strength. After forming under the name “Kara’s Flowers,” lead vocalist Adam Levine and his bandmates have dropped seven sensational studio albums, completed nine history-making tours, and dominated the airwaves with a staggering 11 Top 10 songs in the UK. Hailing from Los Angeles, the pop-rock band is led by frontman Adam Levine. Other members of the group include Jesse Carmichael on keyboards, rhythm guitar and backing vocals; James Valentine on lead guitar and backing vocals; Matt Flynn on drums; PJ Morton on keyboard and backing vocals; and Sam Farrar on bass.

After making a grand entrance into the music scene with Songs About Jane, Maroon 5 instantly etched their name into the history books. The debut became the seventh best-selling album of 2002, and went Platinum in 2004. In fact, the incredible success of their first album snagged them a Grammy award for Best New Artist in 2005. And the following year, the group took home Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with their upbeat single ‘This Love’. Their second studio album arrived in May 2007. Titled ‘It Won’t Be Soon Before Long’, the sophomore release reached the coveted number 1 spot on the US Billboard 200 chart. After the record’s success, Maroon 5 embarked on a world tour, playing all the biggest songs from the album.

It wasn’t long before the group recorded and released their third studio album, with 2010’s ‘Hands All Over’ that sold 500,000 copies. Maroon 5 switched things up with their next record. The band’s fourth studio album, ‘Overexposed,’ strayed away from their original pop funk sounds. But, the risk paid off and the record debuted at Number 2 in the charts, with sales of 220,000 in its very first week!! In fact, this stunning album marked Maroon 5’s best sales week since their debut album released in 2004.

In the U.S., their fifth album ‘V’ debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. In true Maroon 5 fashion, it was another triumph with its first week’s sales reaching 164,000 copies and earning them their second US Number 1 record. When it comes to studio albums, the group have produced an impressive seven, and racked up a huge following in the process! While opuses ‘Songs About Jane’ and ‘It Won’t Be Soon Before Long’ peaked at the top the album charts, ‘Hands All Over’, ‘Overexposed’ and ‘V’ all climbed to the Top 10. Their sixth record, ‘Red Pill Blues’, landed in 2017, and the title was inspired by the cult Matrix movie franchise.

With the announcement of their return to Sin City, it’s clear that Maroon 5 will always hold a special place under the spotlight. The six piece pop band is known and loved in every corner of the world. This January, the LA natives will embark on a tour across Asia, making stops in the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia and Taiwan. What’s more, frontman Adam Levine will return to The Voice this spring as a coach for Season 27. He will be mentoring alongside heavyweights like John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé.
