As one of the biggest American singers, Cher has taken over the globe with her sensational pop smash hits and gained the title of Goddess of Pop by so many. Her distinctive vocal tone paved her way to becoming an unstoppable superstar up until this day. With her popularity first starting all the way back in the mid 1960s with the famous duet on "I Got You Babe" with her husband, together they became worldwide hit wonders with over 40 million sales. Cher also released the following year, "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down."
